Restoring a Backup
To perform a restore enter the Maintenance screen by clicking on the
icon. Click on the "Restore Database" utility on the left bar. Enter the location of the backup directory if a previous one does not already exists. If a backup directory already exists, the system will asychnornously load the last 30 backups which may take some time depending on the performance of the backup directory. If a backup directory does not exist and you have just entered it, you must click on the "Load Backups" button to load the last 30 backups from this location. This directory must be accessible by the computer running the server. At this point you can also same your backup directory by clicking on the "Save Restore Parameters" button.

Each backup is labeled by the date the backup occurred. As you hover over the backups, its backup information is shown on the right. Each incremental backups will indicate what movies and persons have changed since last backup.

Restoring to a particular backup is as easy as clicking on the "Restore" button. A confirmation dialog will appear.

Once confirmed, the system will restore the database. To prevent any errors from occuring no one else should be accessing the system. When the database is restored you will see the following dialog.

The images take longer to restore and will continue in the background. You can see the progress of the image restore by clicking on the log tab.

To cancel the image restore, click on "Cancel Restore" button. This does not revert back the database restore. When the image restore is cancelled you will see an entry in the log.

When all images are restored you will see an entry in the log indicating so or an error entry.
